About Us.

CNY Concrete Countertops was formed by a father and son in 2009.

Prior to  forming the concrete countertop business Steve, (the Father) and Jordan, (the son) were successful real estate investors.  They were house flippers and did very well.  One of the houses they were flipping was in need of countertops and after a bit of research they decided to do concrete countertops and well the real estate market declined and the concrete countertop thing became pretty popular.  MILLARD ENTERPRISES LLC  was incorporated in 2007 and then started a DBA as CNY Concrete Countertops started in their first location which was in a 800 square foot basement room of a small strip mall in Cicero New York in 2007.  The Concrete Countertop business rapidly took off and the basement location was too small within six months. So the company was relocated in the garage of one of the Millard Enterprises LLC  properties in Mattydale New York.   The garage was 1500 square feet and once again the space quickly became too small.  In 2019 the business relocated agin to a 4500 square foot facility in East Syracuse New York.  Once again they are out growing their space.

The Concrete products that are created by CNY Concrete Countertops are second to none. Each project is completely made by hand, all molds are made from scratch and all are guaranteed to be unique, no two are ever the same.

Meet Steve . . .

“The Father”

Steve, a former steel fabricator, was forced out of the steel fabrication field due to Traumatic Brain Injury he suffered in a car accident in 2002. After several years of recovery he started playing with concrete for countertops in 2007. It didn’t take long before he realized that concrete was the perfect medium for creativity.

In 2007, Steve was certified as a Buddy Rhodes Artisan.

At the International event “Epic” held in Georgia by Blue Concrete, In 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016Steve was named one of the top ten Concrete Artisans at the event.

Committed to sharing the most thought-provoking modern and contemporary art, and hope you will join us in exploring the art, ideas, and issues of our time.

Steve brings a lot of creativity to concrete.  Between hand carving and sculpting to different design ideas and finish styles.  One that seems t be very popular is his faux wood look.

Meet Jordan . . .

“The Son”

Jordan has bee working side by side with his father before he was even out of school.  Jordan was only ten years old when he started working with concrete for countertops.  At 10 years old he was unable to lift a bag of Concrete but he was eager to learn and became a master mold maker.  He is a wizard with mix designs and recipes.  His attention to detail is amazing.

Jordan is the shop manager, he oversees all operations of concrete production.

Meet Anthony . . .

“The Help”

Anthony joined the team in 2019.   Anthony has been learning the art  and is quickly becoming a concrete artisan.  His dedication and devotion to the craft is unsurpassed.

Anthony’s work ethic is amazing, he is always keeping busy. He jumps in to help where ever and when ever he can.  He is a very motivated individual, we are luck to have him as part of our team.
